Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a warehouse associate!

Salary:

$19.00 – $21.00 per hour

We run all of the lower 48 states and are proud to have drivers that represent over 30 different countries! We offer LTL, TL, dry van, temperature controlled (reefer), flatbed, step deck, conestoga, and even oversize/overdimensional.

Requirements:

  • Warehouse Experience: The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in a warehouse environment, with a solid understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Forklift Experience: The candidate must have a valid forklift operator certification and be proficient in operating sit-down type of forklift.
  • Good Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and vendors.
  • English Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, as the candidate will need to communicate with English-speaking team members, vendors, and customers.
  • WMS Experience: The candidate should have experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and be proficient in using software and technology to manage inventory, track shipments, and generate reports.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), is necessary for this role.
  • Shipping and Receiving Experience: The candidate must have hands-on experience in shipping and receiving operations, including knowledge of packing methods, shipping documentation, and freight carriers.

Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including but not limited to:

  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Supervising and training warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, packing, and documentation.
  • Ensuring proper handling and storage of products to prevent damage and loss.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Utilizing WMS to manage inventory, generate reports, and optimize warehouse processes.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
